Spicy Garlic Camarones Empanizados

First, ensure your jumbo shrimp are very dry. Season the shrimp with Chef Merito garlic salt, garlic powder, and white pepper.

Prepare your breading station: one bowl with all-purpose flour, another with 2 beaten eggs mixed with a pinch of salt, and a third with Chef Merito spicy bread crumbs.

Dredge each seasoned shrimp first in flour, then dip in the egg wash, and finally coat thoroughly with spicy bread crumbs.

Heat canola oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the breaded shrimp for about 45 seconds per side, until golden and cooked through.

For the aioli, combine 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, the juice of half a lemon, lemon zest, salt, pepper, a tiny bit of honey, and chopped fresh dill, chives, and parsley. Serve the fried shrimp hot with the aioli.
